Just edit your "black box" module and choose "theme" instead of a color. When the lens is published, the black box background will coordinate with the lens theme itself.
I've done this on several of my lenses and just love how it looks. Today I updated a lens using the "clouds" theme and updated the black boxes on that lens. Love how they look and wanted to share one here just in case you haven't tried doing this yet. Isn't it pretty? (You can see it on the lens here.)

ReplyDeleteHow do you know this one? Squidoo does not inform us, lensmasters, that changing black box content is possible. I will try it if it would work in some of my lenses and will let you know. Thanks, Susan. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to remember how I first found out about this. I'm pretty sure I read it on SquidooHQ, but I wouldn't swear to it. I use the black box module frequently, though, so I might have found it on my own. It's fun to explore modules (I think I was the first to find the photo gallery module back when it was new - just happened to see it when I was updating a lens). Keep your eyes open and visit SquidooHQ regularly - you never know what you might find that you didn't know existed!
