To help people who happen to land on my profile page find some good holiday shopping lenses, I edited my profile to feature links to a few of my popular product reviews. These are lenses that don't necessarily show up on page one of the list of all my lenses. They're pages that feature popular gift items that people might be looking for on Cyber Monday and, really, from now until Christmas.
While in general I recommend a good, brief, personal bio - and that's all - on the profile page, this might be a time to make an exception. We'll see how it works out.

Susan, that's a brilliant idea. As you know, I am not a fan of 'extra' work or rather work that has to be undone after an event. However, this idea won't need to be undone right away, if at all.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, Culinary, about having to un-do or re-do things after the event is over. I tend to forget all about things like countdowns to holidays, but this page is easier for my memory to keep track of, I think. Glad you like the idea!
ReplyDeleteJust a quick addition. Google seems to like the links on my profile. I haven't looked for the others yet, but I've seen the first one prominently displayed up high in search results.
